The money the Tamil disapora is giving to the LTTE to wage war against the people of Sri Lanka can be better used to uplift all Tamils.
Thats what is happening... it may take a while, but eventually Tamils will be liberated using this money... please be patient! |

Please exert patience here... right now it is a war situation, not a time to look at it as a financial entity...our farmers cannot even do farming due to SLAF, SLA bombing... remember how Jaffna produced enough food for the whole island... that time will come back after the liberation!

Yes that which had never existed has already come back after the liberation of East.
Don't have fat hopes to have the harvest from the North as most of that will be looted by the terrorists in the hideouts! |

Pregnant women have been used for suicide missions. Innocent men, women and kids have been slaughtered by thousands. Is this what your money is for? I believe you are from Tamil Nadu. Are you prepared to forgo Kashmir then, based on your reasoning?
I am. But, the Goverment of India does not want to. I can understand if you also take the stand that you are fine with Eelam being a separate country, but do not think your government will allow it.
No foreign govt can interfere with the territorial integrity of another country. It's only up to the people of the country to decide whether to agree for seperatism. Even through a referendum, how in the world can a 18% minority muster enough votes for separatism?
You are mistaken again. This kind of referendum will be held in the territories seeking independence alone ( example: In Kashmir, North East of SL). This is normal procdure ( provincial referendum) in civilized societies:
Quebec : Referendum only in Quebec - not whole of Canada

Overseas separatist Tamils have to live with the fact that the Tamils in Sri Lanka are a minority. On your basis of argument, any minority can claim a separate state claiming discrimination. If that is so, then UK would have to be carved for Tamils, Muslims and what not.....
Tamils cannot be killed just because they are Tamils. That is sufficient reason for safeguarding them and if that involves seeking a separate nation, so be it. |
