Clever man Karuna. GOT GOSL to clear the areas for him to rein!!
GOSL is compelled to offer democratic administration in this area. Karuna can manipulate the outcome to his benefit. If Mahinda can influnce the Northern voter base and become the President, why not Karuna.
Karuna's mission partly accomplished. Good for him.

Never heard of it..! Remember, Soosai or Karuna can be influencial factors, but the brain behind the LTTE's functioning is VP! VP can create as many Karunas at will. Losing one here and there, if indeed it happens ain't gonna make any difference!
