Did anyone wonder why MR did not wait until the North is 'liberated' to celeberate the 'victory'?
Did he read what is written on the wall? Is it because he knew that if he waited what he got in hand worth nothing compared to what could be in the bush? |

Militarily... there's no reason to rush into north right now.
Time is on our side and we should launch offensives only when the situation gives us the upper hand.
We can stay in east and eradicate all those pockets of ltte and and hopefully once people in those areas are happy with gosl it'll be much easier defend against ltte infiltrations...
meanwhile the navy can do their level best to to keep badly needed ltte arms shipments away...hopefully on the seabed :)
Ration the fuel issued to those areas, keep on the aerial bombing when intel proves it's worthiness...
basically keep up the pressure but avoid full on confrontations until it's the perfect time :)
We have to admit that taking on North is a different ballgame altogether... casualties from both sides will soar :(
Surely ltte will bomb civilians areas in the south etc etc
