Robins,
Wheres the credibility?
I am sorry to say this but you act and talk like a baby who knows nothing about what the LTTE did during the peace talks for a long time.
If not let me tell you what they did in the name of peace talks in a nutshell. They have regrouped their military stamina, collected funds for further ammunition from the hypocritical diaspora, forced the young children to abandon their studies and to hold the guns which they cannot even hold properly, asked to worship a leader who is the number one killer in the country and destroy democracy.
So where is the credibility? what credibility r you talking about? Is it giving into terrorism and see what they do boom boom bang around the country and force a military tamil land for bunch of hypocrites? Do you think the government is stupid to not to know this?
I think we had enough of this pseudo peace talks, they were seemingly ok in the beginning but now they are just time wasting. I think like we liberated Thoppigala we need to militarily crush the LTTE in the Wanni too, so all the tamil, sinhalese and muslims in those areas are liberated.
Only problem we have now is that mad fat pig velu, the military need to find these ltte thugs and finish them off and bring lasting peace. Any other method would not work.
Only solution to the problem is military solution. You may say it will fail. Yes it failed in the past due to lack of dedication, but its not impossible. I think without military means its all about round the mulberry bush story. So why waste time.

Robins,
Yes it applies to the GOSL too!!
Sorry to say sometimes I have to agree with govt. for certain things. If we wants to get rid of LTTE of course we have to drop some bombs and as every war there is goint to be innocent civiliann get killed. That's a reality.
GOSL is following American system (Abu Garib, Vietnam, Hiroshima etc) . |

How ru? after almost a week..was busy in Beijing..
I think regarding the Aruran, yes he was accused of supporting the LTTE and collecting funds but there is a Judicial system in Australia that will try him out and take whatever judgment given to him.
I am sure recently you would have heard about the London Bombing suspects had a fair trial in UK and the jury could not reach a verdict on 2 of the suspects. we all watched the horror of those bombs clearly targeting innocent civilians go off..but still we did not pass judgment on those who were arrested but waited for the court to decide..
why r we jumping to conclusions here..let us wait!! |

Yes LTTE and the GOSL both failed to reach peace, not just LTTE. One side cannot solve the problems.
Gvt cannot commit crminal killings and close their eyes, Tamils will demand responsibility for that, may be it suits the Sinhalese, like they did during riots to close their eyes.
These are not murders commited against the LTTE these are civilians I am talking about, then talk about credibility!!
WEll Tamils will never ever accept it!! |

I do agree with you for that but I don't think govt. interested having peace talks anymore. Cancer is already spread and it is time to cut the leg. |
