Bribery and corruption is the biggest obstacle to development of Sri Lanka..

Irrespective of their status or political affiliation, they should be punished..

Once Sri Lanka is free from bribery and corruption, poverty also will be reduced..

Then LTTE will no longer have man-power to fight, because now people join LTTE because they have nothing else to do..

Reporter: How do you feel about capturing Thoppigala?

Ranil: I feel like it is a thorn in my eyes

Five years of CFA weakened the LTTE to rock bottom. Ranil is not a lucky man. He did the damage and MR gets the credit.

Leaving TG is not a problem. Leaving without any resistance or damage to the enemy is not a good sign.

LTTE is weakened by the own people like Karuna and other low lives. That's why old folks say that you do not need to fear the ones who come forward with the swords, but the foes in friends.

In my opinion, LTTE leadership failed to introduce the mandatory draft which will force them back another 5 years into gurella tactics.

Who knows may be Mr.VP waits for his son to become the crown prince or daughter to become the empress of Wanni.

Karuna shouldn't have left like that unchecked!

I know that they are clever and was good in studies. We should leave them alone. Better if they live abroad.

But in reality they let the LTTE go with their resources (this is the first time I heard LTTE has MultiBarrels) But captured the real estate.

Mutha they had two 6 barrel launchers in Thoppigala theater. These were the ones used to take out those six troops including the major (now Lt. Col.), not their mortars.

All out war is better than sporadic bloodshed. LTTE can not dwell in the past.
