So you r telling none of the Tamils cannot enter to universities like Colombo, Peradeniya, Kelaniya, Moratuwa etc....? How many percentage of Sinhalese students are in Jafna university?
Also tell me any any sector that Tamils are not working in any positions in SL? Medical, Security forces, Legal, Engineering, Education etc? |

It was meant to be a joke. Because there was big ha hoo in LNP about malayali and Sinhala letters. Loads of arguments by the gentlemen I mentioned above.

It is ok ! I am relatively new here, i donīt know what happened in the past.
I am sure you have enjoyed evry bit of your teaching career at the University of Peradeniya. It is a wonderful place, a privilege even to breathe air !

I totally agree with you on Sinhalese not admitted into jaffna University and they should be allowed to study where ever they want if they are qualified.
The Tamil students issue is not what you think..they can enter any uni like Peradeniya or Colombo but there was a Quota system
For EG:- they may allow say 50 students from Jaffna and say 25 from say Galle...
the best 50 from all of jaffna and the best 25 from Galle can enter..here is the problem..u may not enter from jaffna sometimes with 2A's and 2C's cos you have 50 better students but you may find someone from galle who will enter with 2B's and 2C's cos he was in the top 25 from Galle..
I hope i explained to you well..it is a district basis system introduced by Srimavo... |

It is people like these f...........s who create all these problems. They give food to international community to call us chauvinist if not racists.
They fail to distinguish between a legitimate freedom struggle and a bunch murderers.
If you do not agree with action of GOSL why be a Minister of its Cabinet?
There is nothing of ethnic crises in Sri Lanka. How come Tamils live in harmony from Panadura to Negombo now spread to places like Maharagama, Kottawa, Homagama etc. which were not their traditional preferred places of living?
These f.....s have no opening in their anatomy to violence perpetrated by the tigers but cry for their sufferings.
What liberation or dissolution he is talking about? Is LTTE a liberation movement?
Tragedy is such appeasement as preached by this joker has never succeeded in the annals of the world history.
What they wish is to hang on to some ideology. I think VP' father would have crossed the compound of DG's house time and again.
This man representing a party of the strength of which could be loaded into a three wheeler is showing his talents to International diaspora.
