I think moderates in the LTTE should stop the war and start talking. Permenent peace can be achived that way not by sending truck loads of explosives.

Another disaster was averted..But this is never ending..

No, it is not. Buddha was agaisnt the 'Warna' system and Manu system.

But I had to learn that as a part of 'comparative religions'
