it is like 12.30 in the afternoon..got up late and did not go to Church..My cousin called from Canada and she recently lost her husband and her daughter is getting married in JULY..she was crying man..sad.. |

We get all types of people in all sri lankans
1) You get educated people
2) You get average people
3) You get not so educated people
You also get as you say falls under 2 or 3 and have a great job..u also get people falling under 1..and do not have a great job..but all are humans..the humans value is the same irrelevant of education or background.
I suppose you will forget how you feel about Educated or rich people and go with your heart and Value the human life..
when you leave this world you go with nothing..ur education..ur wealth..u have to leave it behind..U will be judged above differently..

What made you to call Jaffna 'Jaffkhanistan'. Although sounds funny, the term has a deep meaning. You would better introduce this word to USA. They run for life when they hear anything sounds like .....khanistan |

My opinion is that Berty being an Anglican, he is alienated from Mainstream Jaffna community too. Yes, there were very influential Anglican Tamils in the past, starting from Chelvanayakam, but not any more.
Thats why Jaffna University students used the slogan, 'Anglican has no high position in Nandhi University' when Prof Hoole was appointed as the VC of University of Jaffna.
LTTE can't tolarate Anglican Tamils. Good examples are Kathir, DBS Jeyaraj and Hoole!
Therefore Berty does not belong to both of above categories :)

No berty, I fit none of these. I am simple poor man and not from Jafkanistan.
Me too..may be you dislike Tamils from jaffna for some reason only you know..I respect that too..
If you feel Jaffna Tamils have a problem then try to understand and help them out..if they need help give them your hands..
U know only the SICK need a DOCTOR..ur not a sick man..but Jaffna people are SICk in your mind..so TREAT them better.let them get better.. |

May be you are lazy, you dont like their hard work!!
May be you are uneducated, you dont like their love for knowledge and education!!
May be you are poor, you dont like the rich Jaffnaman!
May be you are ignorant, you dont like the astuteness of the Jaffnaman!!
All these characteristics of Jaffnaman are the characyeristics successful ppl all over the world want to adopt, because it is good for the country and it is good for the world full of hard working astute education/ knowledge loving rich people!!
