It doesn't look, that this is as a real attempt by the Tigers.
If it is so,how does the the cowards get the informations of deployment of these explosives, ahead. The cowards said they were looking for a vehicle loaded with large amount of explosives, about two weeks ago.And now they have 'found' it.
They are saying today, that they are looking for another vehicle layden with explosives.I am sure they will 'find' this vehicle also, in due course.
Clever! Aren't they?
Sending their explosives and 'finding' it!

Emperor74:
This ' Social cancer' has infiltrated to Buddhist chapters in Sri lanka, this clearly reflects the Buddhism practiced in Sri lanka is very much different to the what Buddha really taught.
As I heard, Buddhism where ever it was brought adapted to that particular culture. that is how tanthric, zen and chen buddhisms originated. Again, the buddhism in the west has some christian features of it's society.
It is common people mix buddhism with their culture.
You need to remember, Buddha gave only 500 years for True Buddhism to stay alive.

This is a truck of explosives sold by SLA to LTTE agents.
Now, LTTE has given up violence, they did not take it.
Now, SLA accuses LTTE for it once police found it. |

Co-Chairs are serious this time.
The Sunday Times learnt that participants made a very critical assessment on a number of issues. They had included the political situation, the security situation, human rights, the plight of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), kidnappings, killings, abductions in addition to the deteriorating law and order situation. Many were deeply critical of the way the Government handled the issues and felt the need for immediate action. |

AnuD,
You are quite right about the Buddhism and its adaptation to the local cultures. But the very fundermental teachings of Buddhism is based on equality among mankind(unlike Hinduism where it advocate 'Warna').This was one of the reasons why young flame of Buddhism was carried to far corners of the world at the time of emperor Asoka. Look at the situation now in Sri lanka, how can we respect those prelates of buddhist chapters if they advocate cast system ? This malaise practice should be stopped forever. If there is a need for a buddhist council then all the head of states of buddhist countries should convene one.

Laliths,
Actulally this is for IC,which is putting huge amount of pressure on the pariah state about its the human rights violations.
This is to show the IC that the Tigers are bent on so-called terror attacks against the civilians, so that the IC will soften its condemnations and actions regarding the human rigts violations.
