Recently Berty had the guts to say something Tamils don't admit. He told what he saw among the Tamils, as he noticed in Jaffna (where the superior Tamils live) in his friend's house where the dhoby was not allowed even to come to the compound of the house.
This is coming from a Tamil man.
Is that a Superior Jaffna complex or some kind of caste/class discrimination.
Where I work there are a group of Tamil brothers who have taken a sub-contract to maintain the cleanliness of the building and the other so called 'We Tamils' do not even look at the straight at the eyes or say 'Hello' to these guys. One told me, Lalith you come and greet us everyday and inquire about their well-being but our own people are proud to talk to us. He is a die hard LTTE. He knows that I know that. He told me that till this caste/class thing is there this problem will never go away.
So clean up your house first and then your own kind will not hate your own kind.

Yes the GOSL always tell the truth nothing but the truth!!
Therefore if they found the truck with bomb, its true that its the work of LTTE.
But TamilNet admitted thats work of LTTE. :D

Anecdotal evidences without understanding issues is silly!!
I knew a Sinhalese girl, her grandfathers generation were dhobies, she fell in love with a high cast Sinhala christian. Boy loved her and wanted to marry her too. Sadly the parents of this Boy refused marriage to this girl purely based on caste. I am not making it up its true! The girl didnt marry. Then the boy marries a another girl from the same caste, after few years marriage fails. By then the father of the boy dies and the boy got married to this girl at last. Really sad broken first family with children etc, big mess, created by caste system within Sinhalese too.
Theres a lot of cleaning to do on your side too. They say dont throw stones if you live in a glass house, moral of the story. |

Caste/class system is the root cause of oppression and discrimination.
As a result of that they FFEL and they want to become the eternal victims.
We are the pawns and they don't want to admit openly from where this problem come. |
