Punishing Peterites inflict right Royal routing
By T. B. Rahaman
St. Peter?s ruggerites proved that they are the most superior rugby team in the schools today when they completely routed Royal by 41 points (3 goals, 4 tries) to nothing in their inter-schools rugby encounter at Bambalapitiya yesterday.
With this win the Peterites created history to register their biggest margin of win in their annual encounter against Royal. Their last biggest win was 24-nil in 1985 and yesterday was their happiest day as they also took hold of the Lim Billimoria memorial trophy.
St. Peter?s made Royal look like novices that easily made their victory of the Bradby Shield as worthless and nothing to boast about.
