Achieveable or not, the IC will not allow a state to be formed on the back of terrorism. The best thing to do is for the LTTE to lay down arms and sit down genuinely for peace talks with the good of the Tamils, and Sri Lankans in general, at heart. But history shows that VP isn't too fond of peace, thus Mahinda's efforts to flush him out. |

Yes, I too don't think India has any business poking their nose in our business. New Zealand doesn't expect Australia to spoonfeed them, neither should we expect the same from India.

No Brother, They have job to finish. What they did 30 years back, took some brainless, jobless thugs from Jaffna and trained them to make a mess in lanka. They supplied equipments and brain washed them. Once they found out that monster they created was out of control-they acted like a bunch of sissies.

What you think is best solution for this war? Getting rid of LTTE or Getting rid of India :)
perhaps I may see that from a latteral angle.
I think it is better for us to let India get rid of LTTE for us.

VP will not be there forever... but, many Tamils side with LTTE because GOSL had not given any hope for a solution to the Tamil problem... they blame diaspora for supporting LTTE...
Why doesn't GOSL then approach diaspora directly! There are many avenues to have open forums with Tamil diaspora, but MR and his men do not attempt to do that... If GOSL ask American ambassador's help for it, I am sure he will put his best efforts to accomodate it!
