Magnet:

In the that march only 10000 tamils attended (tamilnet). However more than 500000 tamils live in you europe. so is that 95%? learn some math goon.

National LEda failed arithmatic in the school. That is why he is angry with the GOSL. some how, no one passed him.

He should have assumed 10,000 = 5%.

Instead, he made the wrong calculation of 10000 = 95%.

He has a memory disorder too (he is very old now).

I don't know from where you got the figure of half a million Tamils living in Europe.
It is estimated about 250 to 300 hundred thousand Tamils are suppose to be living in Europe.
10,000 for any meeting is a large gathering.Even in Jaffna in the fifties and sixties, 10,000 people gathering for any meeting, was considerd a very great successful attendence, out of a million population.
Can the Undial thieves and traitors able to attaract even few hundreds of Tamils for any of their events?

It is always good to have high security ID cards. But at the same time you must introduce sophisticated reliable instrument to read such identity cards. Otherwise no pointing issuing such cards.
I personally know many police stations have internet facility but only a few police officers know how to use it. Even if you send an email to a senior police office it is very rare to receive a reply.
So introducing high tech ID card is good if you make use it efficiently.

EEELamaya:
Now most of military force personnel are educated. Nearly 300 graduates are annually entered to military forces through Kotelawala Defence Academy(3 year degree). Another 200 officers are enlisted as direct entry university graduates. Another 150-200 graduates are taken to three forces as short service commission offices. In addition to this nearly 250-300 graduates and professionally qualified people are taken to volunteer forces. Students recruited as cadets are sent to various countries including UK, India, pakistan to follow 3 or 4 year degree. Not like those days now military officers are educated. That is why they are destroying LTTE even with less technology. See the damage to NATO forces in Afgan, Iraq and other countries even with very sophisticated weapons and technology. Military personnel know winning the war means winning the 'hearts and minds of innocent tamils'. They will work according to plans. Now they have liberated East. See what is their next plan.
Unfortunately your LTTE bunker rats have not even studied upto grade 5. Some are even below 14 years. Your people live happily in foreign countries because of these poor LTTE porns.

If ever one needs proof that getting a education to higher standard dose not improve persons humanity, tolerance and compassion to others all they have to do is to read comments on this forum from self proclaimed educated (educated in what I wonder). This apply to all of you who write with utter contempt of your fellow humans I don't blame the upbringing because no parent will bring-up there children to be so vicious and foul mouthed. This remind me of some thing I read comment from a blood thirsty leader it goes like this I am a peace loving human thats why I want to kill all my enemies once I succeed in that, I will bring humanity to all.Very much like what I read here. And some wonder why Sri Lanka in a mess.

Singapore Digital identity card carries every thing needed. Even your blood group, driving license, etc. Don't know whether they have included the DNA finger print. Something of that nature may help to reduce the crime rate or at least assist to reduce the time for investigation.
