Jaffna is a beautiful place with wonderful places to visit..
When we have PEACE which we all hope will be soon you should visit Jaffna..I lived in Trinco for a year..in 1963. There was this 'SEVEN WELLS' --each well with different temperature..is it still there!! |

When ever you are getting Palmairah Toddy get some Vegetarian Kool made with soya meat, maakaral, nivithi, potatoes, mashroom etc...you can get hold of a jaffna tamil friend and get some home made kool to join your toddy

Yep, I think we have been told about those 'Seven Well' with different temperatures. Is it 'Kinniya'? I think that was what I have been told.
I think its still there and once AnuD told that LTTE charges from people who come to see and use the wells. Not sure whethere its true or not. But I feel it should be protected and be open to public without charging them as such.

My uncle used to work in Mannar and he used to bring us Nandu when we were small. Why do you think Jaffna is hell?
I really hope this terrorist problem gets finished soon.
