revy: you admit that ltte willingly started this war openly..if ltte thought SLGov was trying to wage an underground war ltte should have brought it worl's knowledge...and should have remained patient..

in my opinion ltte used Karuna as an excuse to start the war..but this war is turning out to be different for ALL
if ltte didn't start war...karuna may have control of East..ltte of North
now Govt got back east :)

That lot more blood. That is what is exactly my concerned. No, it can not be permitted. And don't dwel in the past. All ltte can do is organise one major attack to show the world. But that will not deter the GOSL as it has experienced such incidents before.
Its enough. LTTE must come out and nominate Sethil Kumar as their nominee to join this eminent group in the negotiation. This way, ltte can break the ice and iorn out differences if any with these group and the LTTE voice will be heard.
If LTTE gives the green light today, I am certain gosl will immediately reciprocate in kind.
You don't understand, we all want an end to this bloodshed. LTTE only has to sound it to the British authorities and it is a matter of time.
This war can not wait untill ltte themselves find suitable people of thir very own choice & that would never materialise. |

Ltte's demands cannot be fulfilled because they are very childish..that is why people who represent ltte cannot demand anything in the summits to solve this problem....
praba must learn how the world function..but the problem is he cannot read and write and he is living in his home(bunker)theatre...so it is hard |

The question of finding a solution has more to do with the Govt than LTTE. If the former table genuine power sharing and devolved set up within a united country then latter has to negotiate.
MR must be seen to be creditable and honest enough to implement any agreement and not treat it like MoU's he signed with JHU, JVP and UNP or like P-TOMS that he presented to the parliament when he was the PM.

First they must sit for talks as it can not materialise right away to discuss issues. |

My friend this is the problem even if we sit for talks the past has shown that nothing comes of it, because some other southern party will sink the plan, just like P-TOMS, a signed agreement with itnernational backing, even the USA who is so hard on the LTTE backed P-TOMS, it would have been a very big step in building trust and restoring peace, but it was shattered by southern politics, so whether MR is willing to sit and talk or even sign anything is meaningless because the south is always divided or will us the issue for their own political gain, look at it even now, new SLFP party and all that.
Even the silly proposals by MR the village headman business was too much for JHU/JVP so what is there to talk about until their is genuine will in the south to come to a solution they need to demonstrate that or it doesn't matter even if something is signed, as we have seen so many of those torn up and thrown away. |
