I have suggested the names of the people who should represent the tamil community in my opinion.
In my view, it should be that moderate group of tamils who have braved the ltte and are ready to face APC in the UK.
Mr. R.Jayadevan in my view is the most suitable person to represent. He was a strong ltte sumpathyser. He was instrumental in influencing the UK Govt to permit Late Anton Balasingham to enter & reside in the UK. He has provided money to the ltte for the tamils cause as he deemed fit in the past. He suffered at the hands of ltte in the Wanni as ltte was interested taking over the running of Wembly Kovil that was receiving substantial funds.
Who is more qualified that him. He also claims he was a victim in SL.
He also has a proven track record of assisting tamil community in the UK.
Unless there are differences between UK and tamil members in other countries, I don't see any other reason.
Kindly let me know if I am wrong & why????
ps. I have used the word side track the ltte. It is not what I have meant but what I wanted to state was ask ltte to consider the situation and to stand down untill an agenda is sorted. I feel, ltte does not have a good political leader who is able to tie up all sides as tamil community comprise of people of varying ideology in this issue. |

Samnaj, well thanks for answering, I appreciate your opinion, whether I agree or not. I don't know much about Jayadevan, though Tamil editors seems to hate the guy, if it is the same guy.
But really how much influence can he have on the government to act for Tamil affairs.
Take the TULF in 1977 they had the overwhelming support of the Tamil people, I don't think you could find anyone in the democratic path with that much support today, but even they got nothing.
So I just see it as being urnealistic to think one or two moderates could ever hope to serve the Tamil people. The GoSL only talks when they are backed into a corner, and no amoutn of political wheeling and dealign will ever do that, only military might, thus only the LTTE has any hope of representing Tamil interestes. |

Karuna's influence is visible how these ltte ball lickers hanging on R.Boucher's and HR Organaizations comments...
Karuna prooved he is a good medicine for Ltte..why SLGov disturb the medication?
let Ltte enjoy the treatments..

because he is killing and harasing the inocent people, not a bother to the LTTE. Which is why the LTTE even hard to start attacking GoSL criminals in the first place, because of Karuna and EPDP goons going after pro independence Tamils at the order of the criminal terror state government. |

Yes. Mr. R.Jayadevan may be hated by editors towing the ltte.At one time, he has done much for the ltte as explained in my my earlier msg.
However, though I singled him out, there are (08) eminent tamil people in the UK who has come forward face the All Party Conference to be organised by the UK Govt under the auspicies of Keith Vas the MP. I have hven these names to you. They are people who wield much influence within the British Govt circles and UK govt has now come forward to negotiate.
GOSL and LTTE between themselves can not face each other and come to a peace agreement. But they can negotiate through a third party with UK Govt influence. In short they will speak to the third party. Also, ltte does not posess anyone through whom they can put forward their case and these eminent tamil people are and will be in the best of position to know what is a acceptable settlement for the TC onbehalf of the ltte.
Both parties need to get through this stalemate position.
Otherwise, you & I and rest of the people will be eternally at each others throats each time someone gets killed & lead us all to nowhere which is sad.
remember, there are lot of mothers grieving out there each and every day. |

if karuna killed 'innocent tamils' why ltte should attack army and put the whole tamil lives in jeopardy?
remember Mahinda took office in december and claymores also started blasting same month...
now army has to defend themselves and othe 'not so innocent tamils' too...you know..so now shut up and enjoy the treatment..,,obviously from Dr.K |

Yes right after two unarmed LTTE political cadres were killed by the GoSL EPDP forces, these cadres were allowed to carry out political work in GoSL areas as per the CFA, so who started it, you tell me. |

Agreed, but you see GoSL thinks it can win militarily so until this is proven otherwise they are not going to entertain any outside iterference or any calls for talks, so like I told ML on my page, we have a lot more blood to spill first before any progress is made. |
