sorry bhairav /never been to jaffna or sri lanka /grandparents were from karainagar they left the country in 1931 to malaysia
the only stories about sri lanka is from them in younger
days. |

They had a Mokkan Kadai in Scarborough and they Had best roast Beef , pittu and Roti, we used to there a lot, unfortunately they are closed now.
i never ate at Mokkan Kadai in Jaffna. |

For some reason I feel unfortunately tamils have made a decision that they can't live with sinhalese anymore. If there is a blame for this, i would solely put that in the GOSLs since 1948.
LTTE just a mere tool to take forward the idea of seperation, started by Amirthalingam and Chelva.
Yada... yada...
Your so-called leaders, since time immemorial had plans for separation... based on your mistaken lost identity and that bogus 'superior' complex.
Your leaders never wanted to uplift their folks.. working with the GOSL but tried to re-invent the wheel... by going for separate identity. That is the root cause.
Minority has to accept they are a minority... Sinhalaas themselves are a minority along with Eskimos and the Red Injuns.. in front of world communities...
This conflict is now giving GOSL the unprecedented opportunity to smash that bogus 'Tamils' homeland claim in the NE... while in reality making every part of the country their homeland.
This time it's Sri Lankans' turn to take bold initiative and ask... how can a Tamil man or a woman can have a homeland in every part of the island, while killing us... and not allowing us to live in the NE?
It's all it your head... and we are working to cure that for good... making sure that regardless of their ethnicity... all Sri Lankans must have equal right to live anywhere they please.
