By appointing MR government in 2005,
Velu's plan has back fired and Tamilselvam is asking for a ceasefire now..Three years of ceasefire strengthened the Army and LTTE lost it.
The moral of the LTTE caders are low and they are not fighting un to death unlike in the past..The best example is the Eastern province..There were over several thosand of LTTE fighers in the east way back in 2005..About 500 surrendered to the SLA since then..Similar number was killed(i believe around 1000 died in the east alone)...Some joined the civilin life...Less than 500 is fightng in the East. Now you and your LTTE diehards are still believe that LTTE is wining the war..
Man, Velu has stuffed up the whole THING and Ealam dream is driffting away from him...

My outburst was with PERA and it is resolved..ask PERA why he accepted my apology and he might advice you better cos he is a Sinhalese and you will listen..

you appear as a trouble maker in here. The issue is finished longer back with people apologizing each other....Now you are trying to create another bad episode by unnecessary digging up things.

Yes a senior LTTE cadre (who was ranked Major) and 5 others were killed in a DPU claymore attack west of Mannar.

I think when the deal was made to elect MR over Ranil by LTTE with MR it was real. I am sure this deal have a lot of hidden conditions one may be there will be no attempt on MR's life (as we all know there was none so far). The deal must be off since Mangala and Alles the two important guys are in the opposition...so the fight is on and the initial plan is off as you say may be backfiring on LTTE but knowing LTTE they must be having plan B..that is something you & I have so far not seen..That is what we should be worried about
winning the war one day and losing it the next day and winning it again..we have seen it..and we will continue to hear it..so we have to be cautious.

Where is Raves? I need to talk to him..he seems to be having an issue ..I have hardly spoken to him..

Separately, a rebel roadside bomb killed two soldiers in the north, the military said.
Army troops killed the insurgents as they fled Thoppigala, the last guerrilla stronghold in the region, military spokesman Brig. Prasad Samarasinghe said.
He said troops recovered their bodies and weapons.

tamilselvam is not asking for a ceasefire ,he only said that conflict can only be ended if ceasefire is respected.
nearly 6000 sla dead so far what do you say to that .IN OMANTHAI ltte took on 7 batallions of sla nearly 7000
and defeated them in less then 5 hours says nimal perera.
in last 16 months more then 12000 sla deserted says iqbal
athas is that a winning army.IN east ltte is fighting a both conventional and guerilla war.
in north where ltte is fighting a more conventional war we
saw thw result at muhamalai and at omanthai west.BOTH THESE
battles lasted less then 6 hours and sla was crushed.
