SLN Colombo Dockyard Dvora's, Shaldag and Super Dvora MkII's FAC's are currently being kitted out with either GCM 30mm or Mk44 Bushmaster 30mm cannons!!
Hence one of the reasons for the Sea Tigers getting a spanking the other week!!.. :O)
Heres a little trivia fa tha members:
The Muraj craft of the Sea Tigers have 23mm cannons with an effective firing range less than - 2000m.
The new 30mm cannons being installed on SLN FAC's have an effective firing range greater than - 3000m
coupled with the Ramtec + Elbit El-Op TV/FLIR Targeting system on SLN FAC's.. ''OOOPPSS!!''.. ''glug, glug, glug..''.. :O)

I wonder how many of these wannabes are really living in Sri Lanka. They may talk big about the tigers as being their liberators but I wonder what they'll say if we send them packing off to the Wanni to join their 'sole reps'. I'm sure they won't be so cocky with an AK-47 in their hand and orders to run towards the Army ringing in their ears. |
