We shall have Cantons where ever we are in majority either in Sinhalese or Tamil areas to develop the religion and coorperate with the local lingistic groups to develop the languages.
Sooer we learn to live in peace it's better for all of us. If one community wants to rule the others we are heading for disaster. Experience in other countries show that living in harmony by living while letting others to live will prosper all of us. Suppression of one community by the other will prompt others to revolt and it's a disaster for all. |

There are good people in all three communities who try to understand the sufferings and reactions. Just because of one statement one cannot cluster another individual to a wrong ethnicity. In that case
Dr Brian Senewiratne, Vasudeva Nanayakara.. , Dr Adrian Wijemanne are Tamils?
V Ananthasangaree, Douglas Devananda, ..are Sinhalese

Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years of prime of his life. He forgave the white racists. He reconciled the differences to have a united country which prospers.
Robert Mugabe could not bring himself to forgive his white colonial masters like many in this forum and his country is one of the poorest and the people starve.
One who forgives reaches the kingdom of Allah and those who harbour hatered live in misery. Sri Lanka is a good example.
