Attempt to force SL to cease defensive measures and negotiate a solution, knowing very well for sure that the LTTE won't accept anything other than Eelam, does not even rise to a good joke.
Sri Lanka is a country where rational debate has a vital influence in socio economic planning, ethnic, religious & cultural diversity are considered as strengths of the nation and where most democratic principles still remain intact despite decades of insurgent warfare.
So, rather than blame the murderous LTTE fanatics who rejoice at the killing of civilians and suicide bombings, the west, self-appointed guardians of freedom, democracy and human rights, ignore these bloodthirsty fanatics as others terrorists or people with grievances and strangle those who allow protest and open inquiry, engage in debate, and parliamentary democracy.
This ?s the horrendous phenomenon we?re confronting today.

Democracy means let people manage their own affars... if Sinhalese understand this the war will end the next day...
Let Tamils manage thier own affairs, its that simple. But, the Sinhala greedy politicians and Buddhist Monks do not let that happen... they want to keep control of Tamil land and control Tamil people...thus, the war continues!

Police who searched the flat yesterday afternoon took with them LTTE posters, placards, literatures, heaps of documents, computers, LTTE flags, Tamil Eelam Police uniforms, and uniforms of the Tamil Youth Organization.

Since we all genuinely believe in essential values such as freedom, democracy and people?s right to determine their own affairs, no one can excuse the acts of terror, the LTTE kind. While offering a fair deal to the Tamils we must ensure not to tolerate a fiefdom, that undermines the integrity and sovereignty, in a corner of our country at times the so-called enlighten and civilised nations willing to commit mass murder in far corners of the world for the reasons only known to them.
The most important just cause in SL, today, is to deny the LTTE fanatics to carry out murder and mayhem.
So, let the divine being of the advanced nations express their fake concerns & outrage till the cows come home, over our effort to crush this foreign sponsored internal armed insurrection which has been terrorising the country for the past 30 years.
Terrorism, if it is unacceptable when it is used against the west it should be unacceptable when it is used against Sri Lanka.
