Agreed 100% mate, which is why we need to continue the struggle.
You see you are talking as if these were new developments due to the current round of fighting, but even during the time of so called moderate and peace broker Ranil the Fox hundreds of thousands of our people were still IDPs and stripped of the lands and livelihoods, with Ranil doing nothing about it (going totally against the CFA BTW).
But Ranil was smart so he painted a nice picture for the world while strangling the LTTE and the Tamil people, which is why he had to go and we needed the 'bull in the china shop' Mahinda, who is now painting a wonderful portrait of what it means to be a Tamil under Sinhala rule.

Amazing how things turned out for LTTE last few months. They first attacked unprovoked by targeting Sarath Fonseka. They were successful in few of those attacks. MR repeatedly asked LTTE not to test his patience. Once he snapped, it was downhill for LTTE. Lost east and now losing the freedom of fund raising in few countries. Velu badly miscalculated MR's will. Velu then took a stupid decision to resist in thoppigala. Sacrificed many lives in the process. Way to go Velu! You are fit to be a national leader.
Vanni needs a new leader who can help the people there. Velu has done nothing but destruction. And perhaps the pride of temporary defacto state which will not last long at this rate.

No hadn't left yet, LNP is damn adictive!, Anyway now I am off, later to all fine folks friend and foe alike.
Raves thanks, getting to the hardest part now almost done course work soon time to start the dissertation :(
I am only doing it cause I want some kind of business designation I am very strong technically, but to move beyond need a business backing. Besides when the company is paying for it all, just have to study, no worries, cu. |
