A quartet of the island's main financial backers -- Japan, the US, the European Union and Norway -- will analyse the deteriorating situation for two days starting Monday, officials involved in the process said.

Even if the news item is true I don't think the amount is material when considering the value of Rs and if LTTE needs any money it would have to need it in $.

Some LTTE GOON experts argued that even Reuters, AFP , CNN, BBC or any other outsourse news agency publish news abt the SL war, they always add ... *As per SL Military sources*. So the LTTE GOON experts say that news CANNOT BE true even news agency is relaible bcoz the news is taken *FROM SL Military*.
Look at the TamilNUT craps.. It always adds.. *Reliable GROUND sources said*, *Colombo media sources said*, *Rasaiah Illanadhariya Said* etc etc. So what reliability TamilNUT could have??? Think it bit more LTTE GONS.
Anyway.. I relay ONLY ON TamilNUT news craps. I may look at other sources only when TamilNUT is not available on web due to the traffic craps in the air.
