I see locals are struggling. But, all the Sri Lankans (both sinhala and tamil) doing very well. Much better than locals. Asians passed jews as highest earners few years back. Most of the asians are doing pretty well. There can be exceptions of course.


I think you still have a lot more to learn.

I see where Dewey is coming from. Normally you see only what you want to see. He sees only people of his own background thats normal human behaviour.

WRH and Dewey,
Have you attended a bigger western university? Do you know who teaches the lower level classes and who grades papers? They are called teaching assistants. Then there are research assistants doing research. Most of them are foreigners who come here for higher studies. You don't need money beacuse univ pays you. Only thing you need is a super GPA and super GRE. Got the point


Above is very true to my knowledge if you are in US. Almost research testing has done by foriegn students in Uni's. Also lot of students become asst. teachers . I had met few Sri Lankan who worked as techers assistant .

American education system is piece of cake for anyone who comes out of British system.


Very true. Even a gonna from Sri Lanka can pass these exams in US. There system is very easy.

Are they tired of liberating thousands of acres dead jungles ?
It must be the first time in the world military used for liberating paddy fields..:))
at least requirement of 50000 new recruits is now totally justified.
