I am happy never said it was a bad thing. Only if both parties can remember that the difference of opinion is on policies and not people and avoid personal attacks then you can be happy always and argue all day long.

Have you attended a bigger western university? Do you know who teaches the lower level classes and who grades papers? They are called teaching assistants. Then there are research assistants doing research. Most of them are foreigners who come here for higher studies. You don't need money beacuse univ pays you. Only thing you need is a super GPA and super GRE. Got the point? I went to Univ of Pera and then came here as a teaching assistant. I came with $300 in my pocket.

Very true.
If it was not politics I could most probabally sit down with all these guys and have a few beers and have a good time.
Also remember this it is the people who make the politics.

People make policies and they are different as people are thats what we argue about.

You hate the Sin not the Sinner.
You challenge the message not shoot the messenger.

Hope you got my point.

But if the sinner or the messenger tries to shoot you then you go for the kill. I think I did that yesterday.

Just tell me this is everyone in SL who goes overseas as smart as you? Do you think all of them are there to study and become professionals?
How many pro are there compaired to people struggleing just to pay the bills?
You should get out more often and see the real world........

Why you come here if you are to pay money and struggle. You might as well stay in SL.

I see locals are struggling. But, all the Sri Lankans (both sinhala and tamil) doing very well. Much better than locals. Asians passed jews as highest earners few years back. Most of the asians are doing pretty well. There can be exceptions of course.
