I think blocking access to Tamilnet is meant for the southern population. folks in CMB have other means to get the news.
its the southern boys who typically carry the gun and when tamilnet starts publishing photos and military engagements the GOSL finds it thats much hard to convince the folks otherwise.
Now one can argue that internet usuage is very minimal in the south which is true but remember a few connections in the south is all whats needed for the news to spread like wild fire. |
