Did you go to the funeral last sunday. You have been not coming to the forum quite often like two weeks ago..may be busy with research.
Today is a holiday in Hong kong..Dragon Boat Festival so i am relaxing at home..but soon will be heading to the airport as my daughter is getting back home for Summer holidays. I miss her so much.

I heard one female was not talking to others, all are computer Geeks in Sri Lanka, in the office because she got to emigrate out of the country for RS 1000/hr wage.
She understands how much she gets only when she comes to North America.

That is not something to Boast..we should be SAD..we are a nation a beautiful country that could not solve our own problems and live together..we are suspicious of each other, we can never agree on single point, we blame each other but we forget we are all sri lankans..
I think it takes a lot from both sides to come together.

that why MR managed to bribe Mudalali thalaivar with few million rupees Yes foolishly handed over the money to mudalali, Its a gift not a bribe, Its same like handing over weapons (leaving and running)To tigers.
Mudalali plans long term, mental raala plans wont last for days.

| I do not know if this question has been answered before but can anyone tell me the rate of desertions now in the Sri Lanka forces. The last time I remember a number like 70,000 out of 150,000 but I am not sure if this is an accurate figure. |

Call it anything mate but I was giving some examples why sinhalese go abroad..if you have other reasons please state!
u also can think why a Sinhalese will want to go abroad and work as contraction worker or dish washer ?

again it is not something that we should be proud of..These boys are not joining the forces cos they hate Tamils or want to kill LTTE, they are mostly joining cos of Poverty..to support the families, I gave a job in my warehouse to a Sinhalese boy who lost his brother in the fight..If he thought bad about Tamils he would have been angry with me..but he loved me like his brother..Now he is back in SL but he calls me and asked me to let him know when i visit SL. We just fight like idiots in a forum but the heart of sri lankans are different.
the reason they leave the fighting and desert the army cos they want to live and they made the wrong Choice. It is not their fault anyway |
