These soldiers should be paid well. What they have done today not second what our ancient heroes done in the past history. We have not let any invader, let it be South Indian(Elara), Malaysian (Magha), Chineese, Europeans, conquer us ubtil our own (Ranil type) ministers betrayed our King and country to the British. These LTTE hate our guts. Yet we have lived with them yime immemorial. No seperation OK.

Since 1400 AD we are born, die and come back only for one purpose and only one objective.

Until that treat them well.

So the printing press is going to go on over drive. So for those who are in SL start buying US dollars and putting it aside, you can cash in on the windfall in six months.

Bheesan,

...Malaysian (Magha),...

King Magha was from Kalinga, present day Orissa, Eastern India.

Chandrabhanu was a Malay chief who invaded Sri Lanka twice.

It is nice to see you talking something different

Again, Japan was destroyed, some how Japanese govt, built it not time.

Yes!! Japan was totally destroyed cos of External WAR.They were able to build it soon after they surrendered and agreed to all the terms and condition.

So, it is the good challenge to the PResent President Rajapakse if he can do it

It was a Good challenge for the present President but i think he took the wrong path to address it..This is a Rebel WAR and it was going on for years and years. MR may be a better man than we think but the people around him are all corrupted and that is the problem..recruiting and sacrificing innocent lives is not worth it..every mother who loses her son is going to shed tears and curse MR.

We have to forget about dependance on foreign Aids and and their everything.

Sure you have a point but it can be only achieved by solving the problem , Not by WAR but by talking..
