Look the Hinhus lived a peaceful life before the Sinhala Buddhist started this mess.
Thw Root cause for the entire problem in SL is the Sinhala Buddhist and not the hindus.
So stop singing the holier then thou soung and face the fact. or be a real man and take responsibility for your actions and make amends and set things right.

Why? I thought GoSL said it had a 80,000 strong military....maybe 50,000 died and mahinder wants to replace them........but I thought GoSL seemed to claim its losses are minimal and LTTE were the ones who had bigger losses? OR WAS IT ALL A LIE AS USUAL?
GoSL says LTTE has only 5,000 strong and most child soldiers.
You mean to say 80,000 real fighting men are not enough to win the LTTE who only have 5,000 and most of them are children? As if that is not enough Mahinder wants another 50,000 men? For what?
Most likely the GoSL and the SLDF are facing heavy losses and the desertion rate is over the top and the forces need 50,000 men real quick or they will not be able to hold on to so called regained areas............
What I can't understand is how so many so called educated sinhalese country folks truely believe Mahinder's cockamamie story

You mean to say a teacher does not even get $120/month.
I do not know if any of you morons have known this but,
If you pay reanuts you will get monkeys working for you.
If teachers are paid less than $120 can you imagine the quality of their students............

The President had reportedly taken this decision following requests by armed forces commanders who said they needed more personnel to maintain security in newly captured areas in the east and elsewhere.
Some how this sounds like what the field generals request from Bush : for 20,000 more troops in Iraq ' to bring stability to Iraq' It did not work and now the situiation is even worse than before. |

Of course not only Hindus, Buddhists too lived a very very peaceful life, its the Thalaivar Mudalali started this mess, and not the Buddhists or the innocent Tamils.
Thw Root cause for the entire problem in SL is the Sinhala Buddhist and not the hindus.
Are your preety sure, think twice, who is make the innocent Tamils life messerable, is it Buddhists or Thalaivar Mudalali?

Buddhists in SL is really facing the facts, not like the Thalaivar Mudalali hiding in the Wanni jungle and completely destroying innocent Tamil's aspirations. Some Tamils having all the facilities living in western countries or elsewhere are famous to blame the buddhists, It's not the Buddhist who have become terrorists!! |

Mangala Samaraweera, former Sri Lankan Foreign Minister sacked by SL President Mahinda Rajapaksa in February and Sripathi Sorriyaarachi, one of the other ministers sacked by Mr. Rajapaksa, sat with the opposition in the Sri Lankan Parliament after stating that they were not satisfied with certain policies of their Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP), the main constituent party of the UPFA government.
When SL Parliement resumed its seating, Tuesday noon, both the MPs walked towards the opposition row.
