Emperor :

agree but that is not going to happen. we need to find a solution within what we got. We got an elected government for all and LTTE. forget the past - what needs to be done to get them to the table? what needs to happen to solve this issue? We need to look forward.

Karuppu,
Much as I like to see peace for all of us as long as these blood thirsty leadres alive we can't achieve anything.
That's the reality in SL. If people want peace we have to
get rid of war mongers first.

It is sad to see the innocent people getting hurt because of VP and MR. I donot think average Sinhala willing to give Eelam to Praba. They may give it to Douglas Devananda over Praba or Rassaiah.

Welcome to LNP .

ML,
Hello there. I don't sleep. Remeber Buddha slept only four hours a day.(I am not comparing myself to him). I used to work night shift until last month. Still trying to adjust my sleeping pattern. Having hard time and I have two more weeks before I start my next job. So I am free to cruise the net these days.

thanks for the welcome.
Do we have a solution rather than getting rid of this one and that. What can we do to get them together?

'The territory captured in the northern theatre after months of operations was lost in a single day when the Tigers hit back,' defence analyst Namal Perera said. 'The signs are that we are headed for a prolonged stalemate.'

'We could be heading in the direction of sanctions,' Godage said.

Kankun,

Neither do the majority of the Tamil people are looking for Eelam if they have an alternative to live as Sri Lankans with dignity. Whatever the people say the only alternative, even if it is symbolic, is to set up a Federal-secular Sri Lanka, so that the regions can develop themselves. The Sinhala brtehren should realize that the so called Nationlistic leaders like MR are only assisting the speratists.

Look at this:

PSD clips veteran pilot's wings

The Presidential Security Division (PSD) yesterday prevented an experienced SriLankan Airlines pilot from flying President Mahinda Rajapaksa back to Colombo after his visit to Geneva, The Nation learns.

The PSD insisted that Head of SriLankan's Ground and Air Safety Unit and pilot with 14 years experience, Sri Segaram, could not fly President Rajapaksa because he did not have 'security clearance'.

Sri Segaram, a former air force pilot with clearance to fly VVIP passengers, has flown both Presidents J.R. Jayewardene and Ranasinghe Premadasa during their stints in office.
The President who went to Geneva to address an ILO summit returned to Colombo yesterday, via London.

Well, this is the treatment for being a Tamil Sri Lankan.
No wonder LTTE wanted MR to win!!
