Very latest news.

Not even published yet on the papers.

Friction between Gotha and Sarath Ponna.

In an interview to the Nation, Gotha accused the SLDF chiefs for the HR violations.

Question to Gotha:
How would you distinguish between the military campaign being conducted and HR violations

Answer by Gotha:
The biggest difference I see here is that the President is handing down the security strategy to his officials, but the military strategy is a matter for the armed forces. I have given this freedom to the forces. Working out the military strategy is completely dependent on the chief of defence staff and the commanders of the three forces. I an not in the field where abductions and killings a routine. Armed soldiers and the chiefs are responsible for what happens in the war front, not me.
I have committed no crime.

After this news released sarath ponnasekka hurridly contacted 'the Nation' and said:
The Military ops are done with the consent of political leaders, not by the military alone. There are more abductions outside the war fronts. Me and my soldiers are only in the war front, I am only concern about the war with LTTE.
My soldiers are well deciplined and trained to handle innocents and children.
The chiefs or the forces are never involved in any HR violations.

Matanamutta,
Do you work for the newspaper Nation? How come you know the news before it printed. I'll rather wait and read by myself tomorrow morning. You think I am going to trust someone like you.

Don't trust me, you will see once one of the involved (Gotha or Sarath)blown up, the other as usual with in 1 minute of the incident will accuse the LTTE. You my know how they kill kadir and then accused the LTTE.

Kadir was killed under CBK government not under MR.LTTE had good reason to kill Kadiragama. VP is a killer and supposedly he had killed animals to get satisfaction when he was a child. So you think I am going to believe murderous thugs.
