Saman,

Its very true and not because I am Sinhalese telling this to you and the forumites that LTTE are creating a MONOLITHIC society, which means those who talk about Multi-culturalism/multi ethnicity are just balderdash.

I think since 1983 and with LTTE getting diaspora backing it has been a fanatic talibanistic group of loonies who feel isolation and segregation of their own clique is the answer for some discrepancies.

I think this is highly detrimental for all the moderate folks who really bank on decent civilised society.

You can see the GOSL controlled areas signboards have all 3 languages but the LTTE controlled areas you cannot see Sinhalese at all. English is used as for identification purpose beside its all Tamil. This shows why we are more polarised in every possible manner when it comes to dealing with terrorism.

I went to Pottuvil on 2005 Jan. After Lahugala you will see a sign board with a tiger face. All the writings were in Tamil language and we couldn't't understand what it say.
Luckily we had one person who can read and speak Tamil language. At least Tamil can come to Colombo and somehow manage with a conversation. When we went there we didn't understood anything they spoke had to use the Army Soldiers to distribute the packages.

Saman,

Are you working at Navy and from Ananda or Nalanda and passed out in 1988? If so I may know you as a very good friend of mine is affiliated to Navy.

For obvious reasons, you don't need to say any more, I understand that!

I know the spirits of those lads because a few my friends from Ananda and Nalanda still contact me despite with problems and I always feel, they deserve more than what is offered. I always reply them with great heart!

I know these guys are well disciplined than many people think of them. So hail to them!

Saman,

Thats why I like the song 'Ran malak' by Sunil Edirisinghe.

I am sure it epitomises many hidden values of humanity and uniqueness of those lads who put their life at risk for majority betterment.

Thivya laugh while water boiling..
but what Thivya couldn't or never understand is whole wide world is BANED LTTE as terrorists organization.

The Sinhala racists like Saman is gloating over the proscription of the LTTE, while the whole wide world is annoyed by the State terrorists of Sorry Lanka. Saman my friend, did you hear that soon Goatabaya will be the Persona non grata in the International Airports?

As soon as he goes back to the US, civil suit is waiting against him for the crime against humanity. And there is news that the some prominent government and Sri Lankan military officials might be dragged to the International Human Rights tribunal.

Many countries pulled the plug on foreign aid and the Sinhala begging bowl is going dry. You will also feel that soon. One day the Sinhalese are going to collect Percival Modapukse's body in some empty cell in the Haag, just like the Serbs collected the body of Milosevic.

This is how 'the whole wide world is supporting the Sinhalese'. This is the reason our leader made Percival Rajapukse as the leader of Sorry Lanka and our leader's master plan is working well, then why should we worry?
