USA and many countries of SO - CALLED developed country became economically developed because of WAR.
That is USA needs some one to wight against.
I think SriLanka is in the same Track now. So, LTTE is good for us.
On the other hand, when LTTE morons blow up, that is against the rule book and go against tamils.

from the news i have from sri lanka the economy is not doing well...anumber of Malaysian investors who were planning on having a series of meetings with the boi have deferred indefinietly...
garment giants like MAS and brandix are gradually phasing out of sri lanka to india with biullion doller projects which were to be based in sl some time back...
and the chines firm which was supposed to start the work of the hambanthota port in this june also has not kept up to its commitment...
tourism is in shambles and most new hotel projects have been put off...
there is some growth in the telecom sector and in shipping thanks to the FTA's with India and pakistan...
i would like some clarification from you if you happen to be around... |

This is not something new.
Sri Lanka had a problem of passing material from QC just for money. That worked against the name for the Industry.
Again, Even India is outsourcing it's jobs to Mexico because of labour expenses. Sri Lanka has to evaluate everything from the beginning.
This happens to every country from time to time.
SL has to fight a bigger war at the INTERNATIONAL PROPAGANDA FRONT. |
