By 7 p.m., barely sundown, stray dogs have the run of Jaffna's streets. The city's people are indoors well before an 8 o'clock curfew. Soldiers linger at the edges of the alleys.

In the night only dogs and soldiers are roaming the streets of jaffna. Ha..ha..ha...how true.

Why they want to go to Colombo if Sinhalese are so bad. They can go to Vanni instead. That's because they know what would happen to them if they go to LTTE controlled areas. Even though it's difficult for Tamils in Colombo with frequent checking, it's much more safer in Colombo.

These keyboard tigers here who never lived in Sri Lanka have no clue about the situation in Colombo. Majority of the Sinhalese wouldn't harm Tamils. If that's the case, no Tamil would be left in Colombo after numerous LTTE bombings. Think people.....

Think LTTE leadership is not for peace. Cos they have too much to loose. They would accept a separate state or a war.

Can you please support your comments with facts?

If you can't then it's ok I can understand

Eliminate Prabhakaran and the few LTTE leaders, the whole Sri Lanka will live peacefully in harmony irrespective of their ethnicity.

LTTE leaders should be responsible for all the violance in SL.

They are worse than Polpot or the Nazis.
