How did Europeans go to the American Continent?
When president Bush invited AU PM John Howard said he was the only one who went to North America legally implying all the others gathered in the meeting went there illegally. The ancesters of most Canadians and Americans were illegal immigrants. |

This is the first time SL has been placed on the so-called 'watch list' while India has been there for 4 years!. Other major countries adorning the list for the 4th year include China and Russia.
Important countries like Malaysia, Singapore and Mexico are already there while America's most pampered ally, Israel, receiving billions annually from U.S. has just been removed from the list. So is other ally Indonesia which is surprising considering that Indonesia is the hub of human trafficking to Australia.
Interesting that American puppets in M.E., Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia are also there.
What it means is that so many important and powerful countries have already been there for years with NO action taken against them. Sri Lanka has just been added, and that too in the 'watchlist, which means SL has done extremely well in the past.
In view of there being so many powerful countries being in the list including American puppets, this list will remain just a list with no action against any country. So nothing to worry about. Its all mere hot air and some meaningless pages in a meaningless Report. |

COLOMBO (AFP) - Sri Lankan police have uncovered a plan by Tamil Tiger rebels to launch a suicide attack against the country's main sea port in the capital, a report said Thursday quoting police investigators.

VERY GOOD. Let us ACCEPT a LOT more TAMIL TIGERS from North in to Colombo city (LOW BUDGET Lodgers) and help them to carry out these BOMB attacks against us.

Abdulsallam,
As you said it is all about west and powerful countries. US violate human rights in Iraq and nobody say anything about it. Israel bulldoze houses many times in Palestine HRW don't say anything about it. HRW group is the BIGGEST JOKERS in the world. So there is no need to pay attention to this dumb group. |

If you look at the countries that listed on Rices' statement, you may notice the victims are from countries that have, a bad government, UN sanctions, or whatever
the so-called IC can state because they don't give into
the US way of thinking. So people have to go to other countries for work to support this homes. In order to get employment overseas, they have to pay a lot to the agencies.Which means they have to do things illegal or
be forced to do things illegal. This is also a business for
these agencies and their foreign brokers.
Look at the way our men and women are treated by the damn Arabs! Their body and souls are the mercy of these Bastards!America says it is wrong but they still shut their mouths when it is an Arab problem. They can't force them because of their business commitments in the ME.
So the the blame goes to the innocent people who seek employment overseas. |

Alwaysalion,
agree with your comments. This HRW live on people donations. So they have to scream about something. We have a group overhere next town to me and in summermonths they put a banner and posters about human rights violations around the world and collect the money. Guess where part of money goes to? May be I should join the group so I can get a free ticket to SL. |

HRW accuses US.
Leading Human Rights Groups Name 39 CIA ?Disappeared? Detainees
Three Groups File Lawsuit Seeking Information about ?Ghost? Detention
(New York, June 7, 2007) ? In the most comprehensive accounting to date, six leading human rights organizations today published the names and details of 39 people who are believed to have been held in secret US custody and whose current whereabouts remain unknown. The briefing paper also names relatives of suspects who were themselves detained in secret prisons, including children as young as seven.
Those people who are ignorant about the activities of NGOs must refer to their websites before making false accusations on them.
US did prosecute many soldiers who ill treated the Iraqi civilians and prisoners. Those was a well publicised case of US soldiers raping an Iraqi girl. These cases were highlighted by NGOs and US media and resulted in punishing those culprits.
But in Sri Lanka the media collude with the Govt in concealing such crimes abductions, killings and rapes. During the last 18 months not a single case came to the courts and the racist media try to white wash all the crimes committed against humanity. Edited By - nirupam - 14 Jun 2007 11:34:33 GMT |
