The Rajapakse govt prints money to pay to the army to carry guns and terrorise Tamil civilians.

The soldiers to be recruited would be 50,000 and their monthly salary Rs27,000. That would mean an annual slary of Rs324,000 per soldier and an annual budget of Rs162 million for one year. Where is the money for it? Is the government going to print money and cause inflation? Then our currency would be like tiolet paper, having no value.

By the way why are soldiers given such big money? Is it because most of the soldiers serving now are running away? The citizens should know the truth.

Why have they not banned the GOSL?

GOSL as a state gets a huge leeway than a individual or group but when it abuses this privilege the consequences are as severe as the leeway.

The world has a wrong opinion on Tamils, isn't it?


I don't think they have a wrong opinion! The majority of the world community understands what is happening to the Tamils is wrong. But there is no consensus on how to deal with it.

I honestly did not know that there were LTTE cadres in the east for that long a time. No wonder LTTE wants east to be a part of eelam. LOL

US acting like the world policeman. Some are smuggled into US into sex slavary as well. Compared to US, SL is much better when it comes to gender equality.
