Wednesday?s discovery was made a day after suspected Tamil Tiger rebels set off a powerful blast against an electricity pylon in the city. It caused no casualties or disruption to electricity supplies.
looks like it's NOT the EXPLOSIVE EXPERTS LTT has deployed to Colombo and the suburbs!
i saw the way they have set up the bomb on one of the pillars of a high-voltage transmission line tower on TV news, and it was simply unbelievable! (only one metal strap got bent!)
what a waste of explosives! - i could have done a better job myself, with just my A/L physics knowledge!

can you say the same about the 730+ heavy (82mm, 81mm, and 52mm) moratrs, the 200+ anti-personnel mines, and the 27,750 live rounds of heavy machine gun ammunition uncovered yesterday by the SLDFs in Verugal on civilian info??
- i mean, this is in addition to the 597 82mm moratrs and the 3 anti-tank mines uncovered just 3 days back!
or, may be it's the LTT's attempt to make Karuna look bad!
