yeah great you answered the second question but surely as a so called lecturer of Peradeniya University you would have done some research into it to see whether the attack on Tamil boys in Peradeniya well before the 83 july riots was planned by the JR government.
as far as I know some UNP guys attacked Tamil students and JVP students prevented that.
what is your take on the 1983 riots..

I do not condemn that. As I told you earlier, Military and Police are desparate to protect the civillians. So they have to take drastic action.
In some counties, when a very dangerous infectious disease hist a certain place or a village, the authorities cut off that from the rest of the country, corrantine that.
I see the lodgers dislodging in that aspect.

When i went to a casino in melbourne in 2005, all our boys(galle,gampha,colombo,kandy,negombo) working as dishwashers and cleaners, I saw most of our students in there. Also seen some sri lankans doing top jobs too.
Why we worry what job people do, its important they are not begging.
Now govt is slowly making us beggers and thiefs bcz of the war. Its hard to stop. We have to worry about this begging instead of dishwashing and toilet cleaning. |

Tamils were forcible evacuated on Gotabhaya's orders
(LeN-2007 June 10, 4.00pm) The Sunday Leader news paper says it has been uncovered that Colombo lodgers were forcibly evacuated on orders issued by Defense Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapakse.
The report says that it is being confirmed through a circulation issued by the DIG of theNorth East Mahinda Balasuriya on the 31st of May ordering the relevant authorities to establish a rehabilitation camp by the 6th of June in Vavuniya.
Tamils were forcibly evacuated from Colombo lodgers on the 7th of June.
