Saman
morning factory, evening dish washing...
what is wrong in working in a factory/washing dishes?
It is a respectable job for a decent living..Much better than kidnapping and holding for ransom..isn't it? |

Jacob,
Brain senevitarna also did a great media conference.
I agree with you there. No matter how many Tamils speak, when a Sinhala guy speaks he could delever.
Rarely a Tamil could compeate a Sinhala orator :)

Berty,
Now you behave like a leach ( a koodalla). Perhaps thats why I avoid you :)
In 1983 I was doing my OL at Royal College, Colobo 7. I have already replied.
5) You refused to condemn the eviction and you justified by saying something about LTTE, at least now that your PM has apologized ru going to accept it as a mistake or you still hold the view that you don't care as long as Tamils are sent back and blame the LTTE as your justification.
that is a militory / police action.
I do not blame that. OK?
desparate times need desparate action.
If I blame that, I have to give another option, which I do not have.

Public explode against Rajapakse's. Minister Chamal chased throwing stones
(LeN-2007 June 11, 8.15 pm) It is being reported that a group of farmers who staged a protest against the minister of water management and ports and air services and president's elder brother Chamal Rajapakse, who was on a field visit to the Veragoda area in Wariyapola, have been chased by throwing stones at them.
Under the circumstance the minister had returned to Colombo with his security men.
The protest had been staged by those who were allocated land in the Karuwalagaskada area as their lands were acquired for the Deduru Oya Development project. They claim that despite granting the lands they were not given any aid to build their houses or for any other matter. The residents have informed the authorities on many occasions but their woes are yet to be heard.
Meanwhile these persons have been informed that Minister Rajapakse is due to arrive at the particular location that afternoon and a group of around 500 persons have staged a protest in the area. Ministers S.B. Navinna and T.B. Ekanayake were at the site from morning while Chamal Rajapakse arrived at around1 in the afternoon.
The moment the minister got down from his vehicle the protestors surrounded him and started to present their woes to the minister blocking his way. The minister replied saying that their problems will be addressed within one month. The protestors then stated that they?ve heard of such promises on many occasions and demanded compensation within two weeks.
Since the situation was heating by the minute the minister refrained from proceeding towards the site and instead walked towards his entourage and was obstructed by the protestors. Then the ministers security men intervened and boarded the minister to his vehicle to which the protestors replied by throwing stones at the vehicle. The minister flew from the location within seconds and the vehicle did not suffer much damage as it is bullet proof vehicle.
The protestors also attempted to topple the defender jeep in which a part of the ministers security men came in and the windscreen of the vehicle suffered heavy damages due to the stone attack.
It is also being reported that a policeman sustained injuries in the attack.
15 of the protestors have been detained by the Wariyapola police and it is being said that a retired military person had led the protest. Edited By - Berty - 12 Jun 2007 04:21:30 GMT |

In 1983 I was doing my OL at Royal College, Colobo 7. I have already replied
MPHOT--why would you say Colombo 7..showing your pride..we all know where Royal college is?
yeah great you answered the second question but surely as a so called lecturer of Peradeniya University you would have done some research into it to see whether the attack on Tamil boys in Peradeniya well before the 83 july riots was planned by the JR government.
what is your take on the 1983 riots..do you justify killing, looting and raping of Tamil civilians. You never condemned the eviction of Tamils in Pettah recently..so let us hear it |

Berty, brother:
president's elder brother Chamal Rajapakse, .... have been chased by throwing stones at them.
If other Sinhalese are as brave as these poor farmers, this corrupt MoRon Brothers & Co. could be kicked out of the country soon...
Now, West is refusing them visas, these MoRons will have only one option -- commiting suicide! |
