Canada denied Visa to Winne Mandela recently.
It appears that Canadian immigration officials were more influenced by Madikizela-Mandela's criminal record than by her record of good work and advocacy when they processed her visa application. |

A small bomb planted by suspected Tamil rebels targeting electricity lines exploded at the edges of Sri Lanka's capital Tuesday morning, but no one was injured, a military spokesman said. The explosive device detonated in northern Colombo in Orugodawatta, said Brig. Prasad Samarasinghe. There was no significant damage to the power lines and there were no reported injuries, Samarasinghe said.

from Mavil Aru, or Kattaparichchan, or Sampur, or Muttur, or Madu, or Thoppigala, or - the latest - Vavuniya?
i hope this 'good news for tamils' is certainly a direct result of that cache of 600 82mm mortars uncovered by the SLDF! ;-)
