Its a pity that most humans- limited only to flesh and blood are unaware of the importance of the buddhist philosophy; simply, the art of living. They make this occassion a celebration. All the irreparable and damaging thoughts made by 'rice eating cows ' has to be regretted bitterly.
if their parents/childs'/relations head is donated for candle will they make the same comment? Feel sorry, but the price you'll have to pay will be more- as still his teaching is deposited in the universe, its hidden- when the necessity arrives it exists. SO ALL THOSE MADE HOLLOW STATEMENTS MADE BY THOSE LOOSE,CHEAPLY BORN - WOULD HAVE TO PAY A PRICE !
The classic example is the distruction of Buddha statues in the Afghanistan. Think of this situation.......
Infact; Tesco, Home Base will sell thier mothers/daughters if they want to collect money. In their annual reports they say good corporate citizens. but when doing business they are corrupted to the utmost.

| In an european city i have seen a sculpture of Buddha having sex with a women. I asked the shop keeper whether it is Buddha or Bodhisatwa, latter being a worldly subject is still tolerable to be shown that way. To my surprise he said it is indeed a sculpture of Buddha.The first thing came to my mind was even when Buddha was alive there were many people to disgrace Buddhism, he has preached us to follow 8 noble pathways and to realize the world as it is. So we donīt have to be agitated by this. |

I was talking about the Anguttara Nikaya. It was not about the Mahawamsa. So now we all can figure out the biggest Modaya in the group.
By the way there was more fights among Sinhala and Tamils before 1956. It go back thousands years and I guess Modaya don't know about it.

How on the earth selling such item was desecration of Buddhist religion, when singhalse burn people alive in sl in the name of Buddhism. I am sure Lord Buddha would like to burn himself than sitting in trinco town under high security and made hundreds of deaths due to his present there.
oh if you read mahavamsam you will see that no religion in the earth tell such a bad story about Buddhism than that of mahvamsa. According to mahavamsam Lord Buddha choose very cunning violence methods to transfer people to his religion in sri lanka during his visits( Buddha never ever asked any one to worship him) when i read that story i was so disgusted. no civilized people can imagine such a story.
Do the so called singhala bhudist have any rights to protest against this? sin anay
no religion in the earth would claim such an unethical methods was used by their leaders.

Are there Jesus Christ candles on sale at TESCO super market?
The question here is not that it is Buddha who is burnt, but the sacrilege of Buddha's image which is an object of worship by Buddhists all over the world. Those who post their comments here on this issue in their racist perspective should realize that it is not only the Singhalese who are Buddhists in this world but close to 400 million people are Buddhists and they do not want Buddha's image be desecrated. |

Being a person who knows the realities of Market Liberalization, how would you respond if anyone tries to sell the nude photos of any of your close relatives, given that there is a market for those. Please clarify
First of all, I will sue them for copyright on behalf of my relatives. Next will be for defamation and characterization. Money, money ,money.
This is not going to be like those girls and women living with a stigma of being raped by someone.Those guys did it for money, so I will punish them for the means, the resources and wealth.
Despite all the above,my relatives will be seen and proclaimed as innocents for they did not consent to these photos.
