Folks read this carefully,
'This is sheer obstinacy on part of TESCO directors who are just interested only in profit making. Almost all in the Board of Directors are Jewish and disregard sentiments of minorities following other faiths,' Indika Wijeratna, another member of the campaign's organizing committee said.
It says almost all in the board of directors are jews.Are jews are chritians?Yes Jesus Christ is a jew.But jews doesent follow him.
Many prominent members got their wires crossed. whenever something happens in a western country they think its Christians.The funniest part is they speak like this while living very comfortably in a so called christian country.
BTW me too think TESCO should withdraw these stuff from their shelfs,It do hurt ones feelings.

JRJ,
You would not like to see your mom's candle being made and burnt, would you? Same here mate, many people get offended for their practising religion, thats all. If you want respect then must respect the others too, its that simple my friend :)
Sincerely it will not offend me if my mother's image candle is burnt as it is not my mother !
You cannot compare a candle and a person ! Maybe you, but not me. Like this burning Buddha's image candle cannot offend Buddha himself !
But i can understand that it can frustrate the self claimed Buddhist expatriates.
I sincerely believe that a man cannot be a Buddhist (the one which follow the Lord's teaching) if he live in a modern city. It's why i claim a lot of self claimed Buddhists as being fake Buddhists. Buddhism's philosophy is very strong and cannot be followed by selfish racist idiots.

| I did not get a meaning for religion. For them religion is believing in some mythical God or gods, or stones, trees, or Sun and Moon so that they get some miraculous results from blind faith. Then Buddhism is not a religion. |

One of Lord Buddha's teachings is 'Not even to harm an Ant'
But how many Buddhists are following this in Srilanka ?
including Buddhist Monks.I see even Buddhas Heads are sold
as Ornaments in Canada. Whatever said a Religion should be
respected.I am sure a Chritian, Islam or Hindu would not accept this. |
