| The rats are on the run and they need to avoid looseing face so they turn to outside monitors. what happened to the final war and all the barking by that tamilselvam guy of the conseqences if the forces atakked.all hot air. the forces should keep up the offensive and not give the rats any breathing space. to hell with the IC and their aid. SL is a soverign state and there should be no interfearence from any country to solve an internal terrorist issue.as the president has said countries could give aid but there should be no conditions attached.The forces have come thus far go the full hog and wipe the scum off this earth for good. |

That is not his stupidity, it is Tamils are those who decided to fight for Eelam when Singala racists were killing Tamils and denying their equal Rights as a Human being. He is just leading the cause. Singalas better realize soon and solve the problem by giving the Tamils the self determination. Let them vote whether to stay with SL or separate. They did that in Canada with Quebec few years ago. |

| GOSL should not aminable to LTTE demands but they should closely monitor who is responsible for these abductions and killings. Sometimes LTTE may be behind these attacks as they want to show the international community that tamils are illtreated and harrased by sinhalese. |

So you're telling me that 10-year-old Tamil kids suddenly decided to leave their tution class with strangers wearing striped uniforms and take up guns that are even bigger than themselves. I admire the kids' initiative.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the baby brigade comprise a LARGE part of the LTTE?
The main issue, since you're so concerned, is that innocent people on both sides are dying to satisfy the bloodthirstiness of one man. If the human rights agencies are correct and the govt is behind most of the abductions, it's because Mahinda has realised that to match VP he has to fight fire with fire. See how the number of suicide bombings in Colombo have reduced since he came to power, see how the Tigers are on the run. How are we sure of the alleged innocence of the abducted?
If Prabhakaran renounced violence I'm sure voices of reason in the south will address the legitimate grievances of the Tamils, whatever the JVP of JHU might say. That's unlikely to happen however. Prabhakaran has an insatiable appetite for violence. Watching violent movies and reading about Alexander the Great has only increased his obsession with blood. The guy's a megalomaniac like Hitler, and you know how he ended up. |

'Tamil Ealam' word will be banned in Srilanka.
Its already banned but its growing day by day in Tamils mind,not because of anything its the collective political will of Tamils....
