How long will the well minded parts of the Sri Lankan society accept a government, that is ruining the nation financialy, economicaly and most obviously also imagewise with allowing Red Croos workers to get killed without assassins having to fear any prosecution or investigations.
All ethnic groups would benefit a lot from a constructively operating government and it is hard to understand, why not ALL Sri Lankans are in Colombo to express their wishes for a better future.
How much time will they need to find out, that this war is only producing giant losses both sides.
At least good to see, that more and more donors are refusing to fund that policy and that tourists leave Sri Lankans alone with their unability to work out solutions for combining the talents of all ethnic groups.
Anyway, it is left mainly up to the Sinhalese majority to look after the well being of the Tamil minority and to catch up on the post Tsunami vibe when Kandyan students went north to help victims in Trincomale.
With such spirit Sri Lankans will earn respect worldwide. But with allowing to butcher Red Cross aid workers, they present themselves as a disgrace to the 2007 human race and isolation is obviously a well deserved punishment.
