Snax,
For forum members who can read sinhala, there are some interesting articles appearing in Lankadeepa. One Thyagaraja is narrating... here is the link to this week's one..
http://www.lankadeepa.lk/Section/diyatha/03062007/P10.htm

Could that be true??
I hope one of our Tamil friends from Jaffna(not the usual LTTE lot) who could read Sinhalese would tell if this has any truth or not.

Siva

some of these people keep repeating that most Jaffna Tamils support GOSL, i dont know why!. they say it so many times that they seem to be trying to convince themselves let alone others :)

also did you hear LTTE killed 2 aid workers in Colombo and pinned it on GOSL. That is very bad!. we shouldnt help them cover it up!

Bangladesh advises officials to avoid Colombo airport on security reasons

Bangladesh has advised its officials to avoid either any visit to Sri Lanka or use Colombo as a stop-over while travelling, as violence escalated past months in the island nation.

The way i see is US, India, Pakis and China wants to have great influence on SL.
The good thing is they do not like each other. No matter whatever arms they supply, it will not have a huge impact on SLDF. These guys fight for money to save the family etc. These poor guys have no moral to fight. Thats is their downfall. Also some above mentioned countries sell arms to LTTE. LTTE has many ways to get the latest arms, the best supplier is non other than SLDF brave forces. it also comes free of charge. LTTE know exactly they keep their arms and do commando attack to get arms.

It will be Cheap
It will be high in quantity
It will be polished as gold
It will be packed as crystals
Mostly buy one get dozen free..
Although Cheque would have paid same as market rates is the key to this deal.
(good for Gota-Paya bro)

Now,
-drop five, one will blast
-open 10 gross, one box will be the net.
-Good for show case, in fact very useful for the next independence day parade.
-Tigers wont be after these weapons is a added value.
-attract more southern boys to the forces where they like to carry flashy tools in their shoulders
-Heavy moral boost, as every single soldiers going to carry heaps of arms (mini Rambos')..
-Can be left loaded in trucks or bunkers will be untouchable uless deserters help them self with some gifts.
-Even losses will not make much impact on supplies

It is bad or good, very positive agreement with china.
since world knows 'made in china' better than any others.

Hungtodry,
Thinking Snax'n'mix,

Please elucidate.
I was once a regular 'Jaffna Tamil', but then became a 'this lot LTTE', after being exposed to first hand accounts of your Thug Army in action.

what I meant was some one who is willing to accept it as the truth if what this article saying is true, 'cos this is totally different history than LTTEs offcial version.
The 'LTTE lot' would either not comment or try to do a cover up.
I do not about you 'cos I didnt follow LNP that much recently.

So please translate to the forum members what your article is all about.

Cheers

It's too big to do that now, maybe later when I have a bit of free time.
