Tamil population = 20,000,000 X 3.9/100 = 780,000
Jaffna tamils = 390,000 (assumed 50%)

Even the Sinhala racist census agrees that the SL Tamils alone comprise more than 2.8 million of the total population. According to the census, 25.7% of the Sri Lankan population is Tamil speaking. Do you see how much the Tamil language is being used by the GOSL?
