Have I ever justify killing innocent Tamils is right? I have lot of good tamil friends. But I think non violent campeign is the answer for the Tamil cause. What Tigers do is wrong. You give more reasons to have a war with sinhalese. This is what happened through out the history. All the Tamil invasions caused utter destruction to Lanka. Violence is not the answer.

Can you show any other country in the civilised world where you live now or in the region in the Asia used riots and military oppression to put down peaceful protests against the racist language act that discriminated minorities. Tamils waited and tolerated and were on the run from the organised thugs. There is a limit to everything that was the rising or Tamil youths.
You have not learnt anything from other countries and how minorities got their rights. In some countries like India, Switzerland and Canada the rulers realised that co-existance will prosper the country. In Sri Lanka the rulers are short sighted and always gave in to Sinhala Buddhist chauvinism, the result is that we all witness.
OK Pakistan used bombs and army occupation of its province East Pakistan. What has happened to it, EP has seceded to become Bangladesh.
If you oppress a minority they will rebel, that's history. Can you show otherwise? |

While grieving all victims of LTTE terror in every part of the country... we have only one exit open for a solution... and we must aim for that.
The East has been cleared and the slow and costly advances to make the LTTE run from the North, is taking place...
No need to do any rash moves... we have to accept some casualties...
Sri Lankans... look at the situation in Iraq... where Americans fight for the honor for their country and while all over the world the invasion is called a mistake.
Compared to that... how proud we should get... that our forces have been very successful in evicting the LTTE dogs from the East... and now chipping on the North...
Regardless of the human and financial cost... we must see an end to this LTTE terrorism... for good.
That message must be 100% clear to all concerned. Diluted, weak messages on this resolution will be very costly.
