if you've gone over those areas on a helicopter at low altitudes you know what i'm talking about...
Wanni is not defined like colombo...ltte camps are in jungles mostly and no one knows where ltte leadership is for sure...
if they did this would've been over quite a long time ago :)
so until forces decapitate the head or heads of the snake...we all have to suffer...
About hassling tamil civilians... I think that's a side effect that you can't avoid when one ethnic group is waging a terror campaign against another...
SLDF will have to take extra care when they deal with tamils because they're are the most suspected to be aligned with ltte and their activities...
this is really sad for innocent tamils who hate ltte for putting them in such a situ :(
I personally know this since we get searched and querried more at checkpoints cos my wifey's ID card has an X after the numbers instead the usual V... But we cooperate with SLDF since end of the day we're all fighting ltte terrorism :) |

May be more than 20-30 years but Tamils will survive.

That is why my friend Shan and my Sister in Law Radha still like to live in Ratnapura and Kurunegala than living in Jaffna.

obviously you don't know much about military ops and the likes so i don't see the point in talking about those things.
if you think dropping leaflets and asking everyone to leave etc. is do-able that says a lot about your knowledge in military ops... And don't bring 'i'm judging you etc etc' :)
SLAF is doing a good job in identifying and knocking off their facilities slowly with minimum civilian casualties... i don't think their intelligence is as bad as it was maybe 5-10 years ago...but like everything else in life it needs improvements :) |

But remember that also a democratically elected goverment represented by all tamil people in Sri lanka.
exactly..u couldn't said better..I agree the Govt represent Tamils and that included safeguarding them, providing Food etc..is that what they are doing..
Berty... who ships food and medical supplies etc to north and east. Is it LTTE or is it the government... They might not be doing the best since there's a was going on but still they do provide essentials to those people... |

Berty... I don't like the way MR has taken most of the government function under his brothers etc, the way he started 'mihin air' and named it under his own, starting the southern airport endangering one of SL's best bird sanctuaries, the way VIP motorcades breaks all road rules and endanger civilians etc.... The list is long however i like the way he tackle ltte... Piraba will never settle for anything less than peelam...so his safety is secure etc...
Gosl has to take him down... To that my full support goes :) |

here you are saying you don't like gosl and you post many articles off the web that are against gosl...you say they are sate terrorists and worse than ltte... then you go ahead to say that ratmalana bomb was to TARGET and STF truck...and you try defend ltte for targeting forces...

I have given enough basic info about that bomb..the location...the timing etc for anyone to figure out what was the reality behind the bombing :)
i'm sure the silent readers of this forum and many others also can see the 'logical' reasoning common sense in this :)
