the information i have now is that the rajapakses are going to buy the former australiam embassy house near the museum the prize tag is 8 mil dollars.
Just half an hour ago, I passed that point and saw the banner saying the place is for sale.
It is not sold.
If you still have some money collected from Europe and North America, saying you would donate to LTTE, but retained it for yourself, you could place a bid.
No, the place is not sold to Rajapakshe's yet. |

Then all roads near the museum will be closed. Where to shift the museum? No need to worry. Because the country itself is now becoming a meseum! Edited By - chinthanaya - 25 May 2007 03:04:37 GM |

Just because the sign board is not down dose not necessaryly mean the deal is not closed.
Do you think Mahinder will have any problem getting the house if he realy decides to get it?
Even if he buys it he can make it look as if someone else bought it . You do not have to teach such tricks to Mahinder.
It is like teaching your grandmother to suck eggs...... |

And as usual there are Singular Morons who see something good in it.
why do you have to boil your blood? a lot of lankans are undergoing hardships but does it mean that we should pull down others with us? do you think it is easy to become the president? if you make all the effort to become the president he should get the rewards he deserves. it's no different from wining the world cup. all the players who contributed should get the rewards. why do you people always complain? for once be happy for another fellow lankan. |

A total misguided set of lies!
1. His Majesty King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe is a Tamil by origin.
Where are the Tamil Kings now? The Sinhalese do not even want to acknowledge this fact.
2. We had a line of tamil kings ruling Sinhalese and tamils alike.
Again where are they now?
3. Sri Lankan ports were ruled by Muslim merchants before westerners arrived.
The muslims are also getting the same treatment, but some fools are still supporting the Sinhalese , Only god knows why.
4. Lakshman Kidagamar was a tamil by origin (Killed by Ltte)
I every race there are black sheep who betray their own people. Killed by LTTE is am not sue. Where is the proof?
As usual LTTE is blamed for everything, If that is not discrimination I do not know what is.
5. In Colombo, Tamils, Sinhalese and Muslims live without fearing each other or fighting each other.
You know wh?
Because they know if they mess with the Tamils they will have to answer to the LTTE.
What discrimination are you talking about?
All of the above.
You must be living outside SL. Your comments seems to suggest it. |

I would be more than happy to see anyone succeed by his / her hard work and intelligence and business sense.
Mahinder dose not fit into this category.
Anyone who thinks it is OK is just as misguided or of the same category who thinks stealing is right if you are President |

According to the information available, LTTE leader is planning to stage simultaneous attacks on the military detachments from air, sea and land.
Latest I have heard was that Delft islet was such an opperation, TAF plane over flew the island just before the assault by Sea Tiger marines. This resulted in a blackout and troops firing into the sky (thus being distracted from the real attack). |

Washington, May 25: The Bush administration has described as unfortunate the ongoing violence in Sri Lanka, urging both sides to find a political solution to this conflict.
If Washington insists on it the GoSL has to go back to the 2002 CFA, which means it has to withdraw to the old positions and to the borders agreed to in the agreement.
GoSL and its componnt parties will cry foul as usual but it will be interesting to see what the GoSL dose when the US puts its foot down.........
Gosl will not risk angering the US
JHU and JVP will make loud noises at home but in front of the US they too do not have the Balls.
Interesting times are ahead.
All UNP has to do is say YES and the US will make a regiem change in SL.
The end of SLFP, JVP, and JHU. Edited By - whatreallyhap - 25 May 2007 03:40:34 |

I think now it is best time to give a chance to the UNP.
They has not forgotten or forgiven VP for not allowing N and E voters to vote during the last presidential elections.
UNP also may be able to trap LTTE in to their International Safety Net!
