you have to live with the quota system, since there is no other option and let me tell you that some Sinhalese kids will get more than 260 and still not be able to get in to a university, so it is not discriminating Tamils. If you get rid of the quota system nobody from rural areas will be able to get in to a university since they don't have enough resources. so don't feel bad(so it is not a personal issue). |

machan it had to do with very selfish ideology.
the problem we have today is we can not let go of those things
as I said the problem should have been solved a long time ago but our leaders were short sided...
they were busy raking in millions of dollars nationalizing;bus services-became a broken system, oil services-became a broken service, telecom--same, estates--became less productive...
oh man...we really blundered...
SWRD and the gang who went abroad to study got poisoned with socialist ideas and never thought of it in detail..they thought soviet style central government was better...
this was the reason why they did not give in to tamil demands back then...so now we pay dearly. |

they are all underground with the worms and the moles. Obviously UAV's cannot see through bunkers, but as we have heard when they do surface, their luxury jeeps get blasted. I bet he was on his way to his international airport in wanni to go and address the British parliament. So what happened to that theory? I remember all the LTTE supporters on this forum were acting as if the queen herself had invited him to run Britain.

Guys this is 21st century! So grow up and talk about how the problems can be solved instead of who was there first or last! we are here, how do we live like humanbeings that should be the question!!!
if another strong Tsunami errupts whole or most of Sri Lanka can perish!! how do we know it wont happen with all the global warming problems! Only Indian origin Tamils in the Hill country will survive!lolz |
